After school, I never thought I’d fit in anywhere, and then I came to AUB and I knew that I could do what I wanted.

AUB and the Innovation Studio’s collaborative approach to work has been refreshing and educational, providing access to equipment and expertise that would otherwise be inaccessible. The Innovation team has provided much appreciated expertise and guidance on not only how to run helpful tests, but also wider insights on how research can fit into a wider product development process in the industry.

The Innovation Studio has given me a space to work on my designs where I can be inventive and creative. I have also had direct access to using machines to cut out my designs. I count myself very lucky to be around professional tutors and designers who are able to offer hands on advice and guidance as to the best methods and techniques to achieve my desired outcome.

Through live projects, voluntary work and student-centred activities, our staff, students and governors are deeply committed to making a strong socio-economic and cultural difference to the region we live and work in.
